IP phone for long calls, cell phone for SMS messages
I've replaced our landline with two phones:
a BIG cell phone for SMS messages and short calls,
and an IP phone for making longer calls. You can now make
long distance calls from either phone. Cooperation in using the
IP phone for most outgoing calls is appreciated. All calls FROM the IP phone are free.
Incoming calls will ring the cell phone for 10 seconds, then ring the IP phone.
You can have friends send TEXT messages to the cell phone.
